My Journey So Far…
‘I am a published and multi-award-winning member of The Guild of Photographers, UK, The Societies of Photographers, UK and have also won awards with The WPE International Photographers Awards and The Portrait Masters in the USA.
In 2023, I was awarded my first Gold Medal and Image of the Month Award for my surrealist photograph, ‘The Lacrimosa - Our Lady of Sorrows’. This image also won a silver award with the international WPE with a high score of 89. In the 20th Anniversary year of the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, I sadly did not win but have an honourable mention and an invitation to exhibit my images in Barcelona in 2024. As a digital artist, I specialise in fine art, painterly hand edits inspired by the great Renaissance masters and the romantic pre-raphaelites, having trained extensively to perfect my passion for visual storytelling. None of my images are created with the use of Artificial Intelligence but are instead edited by my own hands using my own brain.
I love welcoming photographers to my beautiful boutique studio in Cheshire and get so much joy designing and stying studio sets, curating bespoke, authentic vintage costumes and having lots of fun in the process! MASTERCLASS
Learn how to use creative styling, lighting, posing and the art of visual storytelling with me to give your images outstanding, eye-catching impact. Mesmerise your viewer with strong, visual storytelling and feeling! After lunch, we will edit and I will show you how to create painterly images using my own unique retouching processes, tricks and tips.
