TRACY EDWARDS
26th February 1965 - 2nd June, 2025
“Long before we first met 31 years ago, Tracy always carried a camera. Tracy saw the world not just as it is but as it could be, full of hidden, quiet beauty and untold stories. Her life in photography has been a journey of curiosity and compassion, shaped by the people she’s loved, the many friends she has known, the places she’s wandered and the moments she has chosen to preserve. Captivated by light, photography was her way of holding on to the fleeting; the pose of a model, a child’s laugh, the sunrise and sunset, how rain softens the edges of the natural world. Through her lens, she didn’t just take pictures; she gives memories a heartbeat, turning ordinary days into treasures that last forever.”
Perryn, Tracy’s beloved husband and best friend.
The images in the gallery below are just a tiny snapshot of Tracy’s incredibly beautiful images and demonstrate the wide range of creative photography skills she had. These images are currently being exhibited to the general public by Cambrian Cameras, Colwyn Bay, Wales.
Tracy is missed very much by so many people who loved her and treasured her friendship. For me personally, it is a comfort knowing that her presence is felt in every sunrise…
